We Are Kinda A Big Deal Now...
So this shoot was nothing short of a beautiful disaster. Hair and makeup cancelled at the last minute. The gorgeous vintage sofa was bigger than the elevator. I got not one but two parking tickets while parked on the 8th floor of a parking deck. A deck which, only after parking the trailer, I discovered had a broken elevator.
But I bounced myself down all eight flights of stairs (then back up all eight and back down all eight because I realized I had forgotten my laptop on the very last step), walked four blocks, popped into Walgreens for two bottles of wine (don't judge, it was at least 11 am) and headed into the beautiful Glassbox at 230 in Downtown Raleigh. And from that chaos came this gorgeous (and now PUBLISHED) shoot.
Worth every single step.
